ZAKARIYA a.s

A  MIRACLE

It has been so long the Prophet Zakariya  a.s. was proselytizing Bani Israel.

But there are many people who refused to worship to Alloh swt.

Frequently, he got opponent and disgrace from his people.

He fought hard to brought them back to the right way.

He was more than a hundred years old, however he hadn’t had a child to continue his struggle strive.

His beloved wife was also more than eighty years old.

Its  impossible for him to have child, unless it was a miracle.

However but he was never stop wishing and hoping for Alloh’s help.

He was upset with Bani Israil’s obstinacy.

Prophet Zakariya a.s. was kept on praying, asking for guidance from Alloh swt.

“ Ya Alloh, I’m getting old and weak. I’m worry about the day I die, there would be no one ready to continue my strive.

Prophet Zakariya a.s. was contemplate and pray in Baitul Maqdis every day.

Place where he spent the time to worship to Alloh.

At the silent midnight, he woke to pray.

He hoped that Alloh swt gave him child.

“ Ya Alloh, my lord, bless me with a nice and pious child”.

Alloh swt. answered Zakariya’s pray, and sent Gabriel gave him good news.

“Ya, Zakariya. We inform you a very good news. You will have a son named Yahya.” Gabriel said.

Prophet Zakariya a.s. was very touched hearing that good news.

“Ya, Alloh, my lord, how can I have a baby, my wife is infertile I’m very old’s and powerless.

“Ya, Zakariya, all that you wants for Me!”

Prophet Zakariya a.s. was very happy.

“Ya, Alloh, if you are about to give me a child. Please let me know by a sign! “ Prophet Zakariya a.s. asked.

“The sign is that you would’nt talk to anybody within three days but just gesture.”

“Say my name, and remember your God, Alloh swt. for so many times, praise Him in every morning and evening!” Alloh swt. said.

Since that time, he kept think Alloh.

Since that time, he kept praise the name of Alloh every morning and evening.

Three days and nights he fasted and not talked to anybody.

Baitul Maqdis became a witness of Prophet Zakariya a.s. pious and loyalty.

Not for so long, happiness was some to Prophet Zakariya a.s. and wife.

His wife got pregnant, it was great miracle from Alloh swt.

Prophet ZAkariya a.s. didn’t stop to thank to Alloh swt.

Only miracle of Alloh swt. could make things happened.

At the end of pregnant period, Yahya was born.

The name that was given by Alloh swt. to Prophet Zakariya a.s.

The Prophet hoped someday his son could continue his strive.

To lead Bani Israil back to the right way of which blessed by Alloh swt.
