YUNUS  a.s.

IN THE WHALE’S STOMACH

Prophet Yunus a.s. was proselytizing Ninawa people for so long.

However, most of them were refuse to be faithful.

Being very much disappointed,  Prophet Yunus a.s. left  Ninawa people.

After he walked for a few days, he came to a shore.

He saw a boat sailing.

“Hey, brother, may I come with you all?” Prophet Yunus a.s. asked.

“Oh, certainly, we will go in a minute.” The boat captain answered.

Prophet Yunus a.s. got into the boat.

The charisma of being prophet, made the people on the boat respect him.

Yhey treated Prophet Yunus a.s. nicely.

After they sailed for a few times, suddenly the boat was shaking.

A big wave crushed boat’s hold terribly.

Water begin to fill the boat through the cracks.

Some passenger tried to remove water out of the boat.

“Perhaps, it is overload” one of the passenger yelled.

“One of us should go out of the boat”

“How was that” one asked.

We pick one of us by lottery, if the name shows up, then he must jump into the water.”

Having an agreement, all passenger wrote their own name.

The Boat Captain began to pick their name one by one.

“Yunus!” he yelled.

People couldn’t believe with the result and they asked to re do it again.

However after three times lottery, the result was the same, Yunus’s name always showed up.

“Brothers, let me out of this boat.” Prophet Yunus a.s. said.

“It maybe a fate from Alloh swt.”

Prophet Yunus a.s. ready to jump to the deep sea which was deep.

“Byuuuur !” Prophet Yunus a.s. jump into the sea.

Not for so long, a big whale came and swallowed Prophet Yunus a.s.

Prophet Yunus a.s. felt his body was crushed.

He was in  whale stomach for three days.

“Ya, Alloh, what’s happen tome?” Prophet Yunus a.s. tried to muse.

He was just realized that he had done something wrong to Ninawa people.

He left them without asking for guidance from Alloh.

“Ya Alloh, you’re the most sacred, actually I’m a despotic person. You’re the greatest, You’re the most merciful. Please forgive me!” Prophet Yunus a.s. kept on praying.

Alloh answered and fulfilled what Prophet Yunus requested.

Alloh got whale let Yunus out from its stomach.

And  Prophet yunus a.s. was out from whale’s stomach and he was cast on to the land safely.
